How Do I Return My Lighting Fixture?

Outstanding customer service is our goal and we are here to help you. We want you to have the products you’ll love throughout your home. We can answer any questions you have about size, finishes, style, and light output to help you make the best choice. We want you to enjoy your shopping experience at Teal Door Decor so you’ll be customers for years to come.

If you receive a product that you’re not happy with we are just a phone call or email away and we will guide you through our return policy. If you would like to return a product that is in new condition with the original product tags and packaging that has not been installed or modified you may return the item within 14 days from the date of delivery with a return authorization number. You are responsible for all return delivery charges and the shipping charges that were part of any original “Free Shipping Offer”.

A restocking fee of 25% in addition to shipping charges will be collected on returns.

To return an item you must first obtain a Return Authorization number from our customer service department. Returned goods that are not authorized will not be credited. To begin the return process we ask that you call us at 203-524-3232 or email us at and you will be instructed how to properly expedite your item to ensure the speediest refund possible. Refunds will be issued upon confirmation of receipt of goods. The product will be inspected and as long as it is in new condition, received in its original packaging, sent to the correct warehouse ( not our Wilton office ) with a Return Authorization number, you will be issued the refund you are due, less any shipping fees and restocking charges.

Damaged Items
In the rare event that something is damaged en route to you, we will do everything possible to resolve the matter quickly. When items ship UPS or FedEx we must contact them within 48 hours to resolve the issue. Please call us at 203-524-3232 or email us at so that we can assist you and expedite a new item right away. Immediate inspection is especially important for larger items that are shipped via freight carrier. You must inspect them on site and mark any noticeable defects on the bill of lading. Once you do so please call us at 203-524-3232 so that we can file a claim with the freight carrier and arrange a replacement immediately. Customers who sign for delivery and do not notate “damage” assume responsibility if the merchandise is damaged.

Cancellation Request
Once we have placed your order with the manufacturer and it has shipped from the warehouse, the order cannot be cancelled, rerouted, or redirected. If you would like to return an item please follow the Return Policy procedure. Please do not refuse the delivery of non-damaged goods as this will result in a 50% restocking fee.
